About the
Golden Visa Residency
The Golden Residency is a residency-by-investment programme that grants long-term residency rights and exclusive benefits to investors, entrepreneurs, and highly skilled individuals in return for meeting the minimum investment requirements in one or more of the approved investment options.
The programme also allows Golden Residency holders to work or study in the Sultanate of Oman without the need for a local sponsor, with the option to include immediate family members under the same application, in accordance with the programme's approved guidelines and regulations.

We are pleased to present the Golden Residency Program in the Sultanate of Oman, officially launched by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion on 31 August 2025. This strategic initiative aims to enhance Oman's position as a secure and attractive destination for foreign investment while also attracting global talent and expertise in support of the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which seeks to build a diversified, competitive, and sustainable economy. The programme offers long-term visa residency valid for ten (10) years and renewable through seven approved investment options. Applicants may select a single investment pathway or combine multiple options, subject to a minimum total investment of OMR 200,000 (±USD 520,000).
