10 Year Golden Residency
of the Sultanate of Oman
We are pleased to present the Golden Residency Program in the Sultanate of Oman, officially launched by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion on 31 August 2025. This strategic initiative aims to enhance Oman's position as a secure and attractive destination for foreign investment while also attracting global talent and expertise in support of the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which seeks to build a diversified, competitive, and sustainable economy. The programme offers long-term visa residency valid for ten (10) years and renewable through seven approved investment options. Applicants may select a single investment pathway or combine multiple options, subject to a minimum total investment of OMR 200,000 (±USD 520,000).

Yes. A Golden Residency holder is permitted to carry out investment or professional activities in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Sultanate of Oman, and in line with the licensed nature of the activity.
Applicants must generally be at least 21 years old. This ensures legal capacity to meet financial, legal, and regulatory requirements set by Omani authorities.
There is no specific age limit for children included as dependents, subject to the regulations in effect at the time of application.
No. The Golden Residency does not allow the inclusion of siblings. Only visit visas may be applied for.
